Details on New Dell mini 3i smartphone for China
Dell has been struggling for quite some time to enter the mobile phone market, and most of their efforts have been to crack the Chinese mobile market, and it’s from a Chinese site, tech.163.com that we learn Dell may have now cracked the mobile phone market.
Apparently there is an email floating round the net waves purportedly received by developers on China Mobile‘s Mobile Market mailing list that makes mention of an OMS device named the Dell “mini 3i.”
The Dell mini 3i apparently runs on China Mobile’s legacy GSM network rather than TD-SCDMA 3G, and has a perfect 16:9. Although there is no official word on this Dell mini 3i mobile phone, so as soon as we know more we’ll pass it along.
