Microsoft Project Pink Unveils Kin One and Kin Two
Yes folks Microsoft have finally gone all official with Project Pink with two mobile phones which are being marketed as Windows phones and according to the guys over on engadget, although both handsets are ultimately based on most of the underpinnings of Windows Phone 7 it’s a totally different experience.
Apparently the entire UI is custom to Kin with a heavy social media slant. No support for 3rd party apps surprisingly, and a custom browser and their displays are capacitive and support multitouch.
Microsoft Kin One formally known as the Turtle is a curved square slider handset sporting a QVGA display a full QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and internal storage of 4GB, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
Microsoft Kin Two formally known as the Pure ups the specs on the Kin One by packing a HVGA display, traditional landscape QWERTY keyboard, an 8 megapixel camera, internal storage of 8GB and again WiFi, and Bluetooth.
