Google Nexus One from Vodafone UK before month end
The Nexus One from HTC is the first mobile phone powered by Android which is sold directly from Google’s web store. The good news for those that have been waiting for news of it coming to the UK with Vodafone connectivity is that is about to be happening.
Google announced way back in January that Vodafone UK would be offering users the possibility the Nexus One on its airwaves, and that seems to be happening now before the end of the month.
The Android based mobile phone will still have to be purchased via Google’s web store just as if you were in the United State but for those of you that are interested in getting hold of the device, on a two year contract with Vodafone.
Vodafone has had the Nexus One on their website and coming soon, but with no specific time for availability that is until now. The Nexus One from Google combines all the latest hardware and of course the newest Android software making it a win win situation for those that want super fast internet browsing.
The Nexus One includes a 3.7 inch touchscreen display with a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, flash and also video recording plus much more. As the handset is marketed by Google itself the Nexus One includes support for all Google services designed for the Android operating system. Vodafone UK expect to be able to offer the Nexus One starting in April although no details are available yet on pricing. When we get that information we will pass it on to you.
