Apparently the iPhone 4 antenna problem has made iPhone 4 users go and purchase a Apple Bumper case as a fix for the problem as advised by Apple, but this has caused another problem in as much as there now appears to be a shortage of Bumper case availability.

According to an article over on Ubergizmo, there is a shortage of the Apple iPhone 4 accessory which has resulted in some people selling the Bumper case for a rather overpriced $100 via eBay.

Obviously people will take advantage of a situation to make several bucks by offloading an item for an exorbitant profit, but no doubt there will be someone willing to snatch up the deal so they can overcome the iPhone 4 antenna issue quickly.

Personally I believe as this is an Apple problem and not the users, Apple should offer anyone with an iPhone 4 a free Bumper case to resolve the problem until they can get their finger out and sort it for good, what do you think?
