T-Mobile G2 HSPA+ Handset Teaser Site Goes Live
Well this just about confirms what T-Mobile’s first HSPA+ smartphone will be know as, the T-Mobile G2, and naturally the first HSPA+ device will sport the Android operating system and following in the footsteps of another T-Mobile first, the original Android T-Mobile G1
Furthermore according to an article over on Engadget by Vlad Savov, T-Mobile has now launched a teaser website for the T-Mobile G2 where as usual you can sign up for relevent info as and when it surfaces.
If the T-Mobile G2 pans out like the previous roadmap leaked by a T-Mobile rep, the T-Mobile G2 should be an HTC device and have a September release date although that is yet to be confirmed by T-Mobile.
There’s not a great deal to be gleaned from the G2 teaser site other than the device will have “tight integration” with Google services which is to be expected, and the promise of more details in the coming weeks.
