HTC CDMA GSM Android Device Hits FCC in Verizon Colours
Back in August an HTC Android slider smartphone that was similar to the HTC EVO 4G was spotted (here), we now apparently that very same device has hit the FCC and still sports Verizon colours alone with dual-mode CDMA and GSM.
According to Sean Hollister of Engadget, the device known as the HTC “PD42100” doesn’t have an official name just yet but FCC tests confirm the slider will be CDMA 2000 along with GSM 850 and EV-DO Rev. A, with other goodies being WiFi at 2.4GHz and Bluetooth.
No confirmation of the the supposed 1.2GHz processor, but the 4 inch display has been confirmed by the guys and it does feature a removable battery and sport some Verizon red highlights on the keyboard and keys.
Other than that there no a great deal of info on the device, but it does look like the Big Red will be gaining a new HTC dual-mode smartphone sometime in the near future, more as an when we hear.
