Verizon Expands 4G LTE to Four New Markets
In the mobile space today it’s not necessarily all about what smartphones and tablets there are available but more about network technology and the coming of 4G connectivity. Verizon continues to roll out their 4G LTE network across the Untied States and has now added a further 4 markets.
According to the virtual press office, the Big Red has now gone live with 4G LTE in Indianapolis, Lafayette, West Lafayette and Fort Wayne, enabling users to share photos and music and download files up to ten times faster.
The president of the Indiana/Kentucky/Michigan region for Verizon, John Granby says, “Our 4G LTE network is revolutionizing the way people communicate, and we know this connectivity will be a key communications and technology enabler for many years to come.”
Apparently Indianapolis, Lafayette and Fort Wayne are new markets while West Lafayette is part of the network expansion. Indianapolis International Airport along with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Purdue University already take advantage of Verizon’s 4G LTE network.
