Walmart to launch T-Mobile Samsung Exhibit II 4G Tomorrow
If you are one of the T-Mobile Android faithful over in the good old US of A and have been waiting for the successor to the original Samsung Exhibit to come out to play, you just might like to know that Walmart will launch the Samsung Exhibit II 4G smartphone nationwide as of tomorrow.
According to the guys over at Engadget, Walmart will offer the Android smartphone starting off at $30 when signing on for the usual two-year agreement and after a mail in rebate; however if you wish to grab the Samsung Exhibit II 4G with a commitment the handset will cost you $199.99.
However if you do not wish to make your purchase with Walmart, you will be able to pick up the Android Gingerbread handset from official T-mobile channels as of the 2nd of November, so if you want to be amongst the first you may like to hit up Walmart.
According to the vice president, product management, T-Mobile USA, Andrew Morrison, “T-Mobile offers a variety of low-cost service plans that, paired with America’s largest 4G network, provide a compelling reason for consumers to step up to the benefits of 4G smartphones. The Samsung Exhibit II 4G is the perfect device for consumers desiring a smartphone with robust 4G entertainment and Web browsing experiences — at a price they can afford.”
Spec wise the Samsung Exhibit II 4G offers a 3.7-inch WVGA TFT touch screen, 3-megapixel rear-facing camera with flash, front facing camera, WiFi, 1 GHz processor and Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
