The Motorola Xoom 2 tablet PC is going to be released, by Carphone Warehouse in the UK. The good news is that it will happen before Christmas 2011. The latest Xoom will go on sale at the retail store for only 400 Euros.

Best Buy is already selling the Motorola XOOM Family Edition for $379, but it is great that UK customers will be able to get the new Xoom 2 via Carphone Warehouse. Xoom main features recap: 8.2-inch touchscreen display, WiFi tethering support, 16 and 32GB of internal storage, front-facing camera, Android 3.2 (Honeycomb), GPS and Bluetooth. It will NOT be shipped with Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

We know that the Xoom 2 will release before Christmas at Carphone warehouse, but no exact date has been given. We will keep you updated on this one; as soon as this product goes live at the retail store we will notify you.
