The new iOS 5.0.1 beta released to developers is getting some attention, but this update will expire, it will fix a few bugs such as the battery life problems and can be jailbroken using the latest RedSn0w jailbreak.

Thanks to iDB they have reported that the new iOS 5.0.1 beta will expire on December 14th, if you have already downloaded and installed this update beta, be sure that you have updated to the new firmware version, if not it will render your device useless.

IH8Sn0w, you know the iOS hacker fellow reported that it would expire at 8pm EST on the date given above. Plenty of time left, to do your magic then, hurry before it is removed.

iOS 5.0.1 is said to fix that dreaded poor battery life that everyone is experiencing, we have the iPhone 4S and it is suffering quite badly, just hope this update does indeed fix that matter.
