The new Altec Lansing T612 are speakers that will officially work with Apple’s iPhone and other new generation iPods. The T612 has been primarily designed to work with Apple handsets so features incoming call support which allows the user to hear the iPhone ringing (your music will pause), and when a call in finished the iPhone is docked in the T612 and your music reusmes from the place it halted.
Spec wise, the Altec Lansing T612 has XdB bass enhancement technology along with powerful neodymium speakers, and you can connect to older iPod models via a standard auxiliary audio jack at the back, your also receive a wireless remote giving you iPod song navigation. The T612 speaker should be available February 08 at Apple retailers at approximately $199.95
