Graduate school professor at NYC, Jeff Jarvis was handed a Nokia N82 handset in conjunction with Reuters, and asked to do a report from the World Economic Forum. While there, Beat.tv interviewed him asking just what he thinks about this technology and how it might impact on the future of world news.

Jarvis believes mobile video is a quantum leap in the news reporting arena as it brings live news and you can easily talk to the world. You just simple shoot a video, hit two button and it goes straight online Reuters. All news will be out there on the internet and it will be up to the likes of CNN to find it rather than have it given to them. It’s a big deal in the news reporting world.
