Spain/Espoo, Finland — Nokia President and CEO, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo while at the Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona reinforce Nokia’s vision of bringing together the benefits of the internet by unveiling a new Nokia line-up of converged handsets combines with services which promote collaborating sharing. The devices — the Nokia N96, N78, the 6220 classic, and Nokia 6210 Navigator all bring to the table differing location base multimedia from geotagging to pedestrian navigation, from photo sharing to movie viewing.
Nokia also spoke of its next move towards its Ovi Internet service by introducing ‘Share on Ovi’ which is a personal media sharing community allowing easy upload and sharing of personal media. Olli-Peeka Kallasvuo said: “As we continue to free the Internet from the limitations of the desktop, we are taking mobility into a completely new realm of possibility. We are, in fact, redefining the Internet itself as we’re making it context aware and more personal. With context, the Internet becomes a medium of very immediate and personal experiences.”
