Design Museum: iPhone nominated for design of 2007
Apple’s iPhone is one of 18 products nominated for the Brit Insurance Designs of the Year 2007, which is hosted by the Design Museum. Internationally respected designers Philipp Rode, Wayne Hemingway and Nick Knight have nominated the iPhone, and the comprehensive shortlist reflects the best in designs over the past year.
Apple’s iPhone is going up against some heavy competition such as Media Skin mobile phone, Mujj wind up radio, Mujj LED torch, Tenori-on musical instruments, and Infobar2 mobile phone to name only a few.
The shortlist is available to view from February 18th to March 11th at the Design Museum and the overall winner will be announced on March 18th.Shortlist judges this year are…Nadia Swarovski, Antonio Citterio, and Rolf Fehlbaum.
