Hong Kong is set to receive Samsung’s cool looking candy-bar mobile handset the Anycall L258, and by Hong Kong we presume the rest of China as well. The metallic-silver and black casing of the L258 leads this handset sophistication and distinctive style, and Samsung seem to realise this is quite important in a mid-range device.
So, The Samsung Anycall L258 is tri-band GSM/GPRS with a 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio, a 2.3 inch touch-screen, and microSD slot. The L258 includes preinstalled software such as web browser (Openwave), handwriting recognition, music player, and an abundance of the usual calendar, contacts and stuff.
The new Samsung Anycall L258 handset has dimensions of 113 x 50 x 14.5mm with a weight of only 97grams, and once launched will probably cost in the region of HK$2,180 that’s approximately $280.00 US.
