The chairman at Adobe Shantanu Narayen, made it sound as if was going to be easy to incorporate Flash SDK for the Apple iPhone. However as he is not a developer it seems as if he was making some bold statements. Now it seems as if Adobe is backpedaling on the CEO’s comments and said that it is harder than we thought getting a Flash SDK to work.
Adobe went on to say that they need to work more closely with Apple in order to bring the full capabilities of Flash to the iPhone. The thing is Flash is not an easy application to incorporate onto a handset, it takes a lot of hard work so that the software can work correctly with the Safari OS on the iPhone. And this is where Adobe will have a problem, as Apple has never liked working with third-party developers.
