When it comes to growth in technology China and India are the big two, and although India seem behind when it comes to technology you have to remember when the country introduce something they have great buying power. The main reason for this is India has a huge population, and when they buy something they do it in the hundreds of millions.
It is being reported that by April 2008 there will be more mobile phone users in India than there is in the U.S., cell phone users in India now exceeds 250.93 million. To put that into perspective that’s about 1 in 4 Indians who own a mobile phone. This growth in cell phone users is huge, much larger than that of America or even China.
