Keeping PDA’s alive and kicking is Airis who are readying their T482 GPS handset to be released in France. The T482 GPS is an all black mobile handset which features quad-band GSM support, but will be supplied without navigational software.
The Airis T482 GPS handset also features GPRS/EDGE, 64MB of RAM, a 416Mhz Marvell PXA270 processor, 2 megapixel camera, 3.2 inch QVGA display and microSD expansion slot. Other features include: Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, FM tuner, SiRFStar III GPS receiver.
However if you are thinking about wanting the T480 GPS you had better check on your bank account because this piece of technology will set you back €478 for European coverage, €424 for French maps, that about $671, and if purchased without pre-installed software it will cost you €399, about $631.00
