A new Special Edition Wild Card has been announced by Kyocera and Virgin Mobile USA. Apparently, at the Virgin Mobile Festival in Baltimore on the 9th and 10th of August, 1500 lucky winners will be granted special access to the Guest lounge. All the winners will need to do apparently is to flash their special edition Wild Card mobile phone, and access will be granted.

The Special Edition Wild Card handset still has much the same specs as usual dual displays, a 1.3 megapixel camera, QWERTY keypad, and Bluetooth. Kyocera has this time done away with the black casing and gone for a shiny slick white with blue button keypad, along with Virgin Mobile Festival themed bezel surrounding the internal screen, and incorporates unique wallpapers as well.

The Virgin Mobile USA and Kyocera Special Edition Wild Card should be available online and off line exclusively via Best Buy with the price set at $99.99 and from 25th May through to 31st July. Also, Virgin Mobile USA has added 50 free music downloads through eMusic along with a yearlong SPIN magazine subscription as an added bonus.

So anyone fancy going to the Virgin Mobile Festival in August, and wants entry into the Guest lounge, better hurry and snap up a Wild Card before those 1500 quickly vanish, and by the way, don’t forget to bring the Wild Card with you if you are one of the lucky ones.
