According to those “possibly a tad bios” guys over at CarackBerry, Research In Motion’s new soon to be drooled over touch-screen mobile phone the BlackBerry Thunder will be sporting a virtual keyboard that is so realistic the user will swear they are perhaps sitting in front of a 1986 IBM Model M.
According to CrackBerry: their “reliable sources” have stated that the Blackberry Thunder’s screen will utilise numerous advanced technologies to give such an effect, which includes localised haptic feedback that allows the screen to be virtually pushed in whilst rewarding the user with a vibration and click sound, and along with the option of a full QWERTY or SureType layout, which of course will depend on the mobile phone’s orientation.
Apparently, typing on the BlackBerry Thunder is a “really easy and enjoyable experience.”
An update also states that the BlackBerry Thunder will be sporting a glass screen and will be multi touch. Good on you Research In Motion; iPhone…watch out!
