Vermont the last American state to gain the Apple iPhone 3G
There is one place in the USA that for some reason hasn’t had direct access to the Apple iPhone 3G mobile handset, Vermont is the only state in the country without iPhone 3Gs.
However, Vermonters can now jump up and down and rejoice because very soon the Apple iPhone 3G is coming your way.
Federal regulators have apparently approved a rural cell merger which now means the Apple iPhone can go with the land of the Green Mountains.
With the merging of Verizon and Unicel, the state worried Vermont would be left without a choice of mobile phone service and therefore Vermont is spinning off overlapping service areas to none other that Apple iPhone 3G toting AT&T.
Which means of course with AT&T comes Apple iPhone 3G, so within a few more months Vermonters could well be joining the iPhone 3G mobile brigade.
