Lawsuit filed for 3G saturation against AT&T and Apple

It has been alleged by a San Diego based lawsuit that Apple and AT&T have knowingly oversold the Apple iPhone 3G, and promising faster speeds but resulting in a glut of customers bogging down the 3G network with mobile phones that themselves are flawed.

Customer William Gillis produced an 18 page complaint which primarily relies on “Internet reports of problems as the foundation of its argument and asserts that leaked information contradicts public statements by either of the defendant companies regarding 3G network performance.”

Gillis criticises AT&T, although the company’s new media representative Brad Mays has gone on record as stating the iPhone 3G has been “performing great” on its 3G network. However the plaintiff motions to claims that the iPhone 3G requires too much power.
