Google has introduced Search with My Location, which is a new way to search for nearby business on your mobile phone, and is apparently faster and easier.
Before, when you hit Google.com from your mobile browser local search was tailored for the last location you entered, now by using Gears Geolocation API, Search with My Location “approximates your actual location” by using Cell ID tech, the same as used by Google maps on mobiles.
Which means if you want to find something like pizza nearby then simply type pizza, and Google returns local business listings round your location. Take a look at the video below.
