So Research In Motion has announced their first ever clamshell BlackBerry, the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220; it’s apparently a one-off and packs a sadly lacking functionality pushed into an overly large sized clam.
BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 highlights are BlackBerry OS, traditional trackball navigation, WiFi with UMA support, SureType QWERTY keyboard and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Size wise it is 101.1 x 50 x 17.5 with a weight of 102 grams and boasts a QVGA internal display and small external display, 2 megapixel camera along with video recording, Bluetooth and USB 2.0, and microSD expansion.
Not a great deal to get excited about and as yet no pricing either.
