Apple iPhone 3G wins Gadget of the year award
Reuters reports that the Apple iPhone 3G has been voted Gadget of the year by the readers of Stuff magazine. Apparently the Apple iPhone 3G out-beat the likes of Microsoft’s Xbox 360, the Nintendo Wii Fit add-on, and B&W Zeppelin iPod speakers.
Each product was rated by categories such as “cool factor;” design and value, and performance; the Apple iPhone 3G was describes as a “faster, cleverer version of an already remarkable phone,” which refers to the winner last year which was the original Apple iPhone.
The Apple iPhone 3G’s Gadget of the year award comes in the face of fierce criticism from some quarters, as it is in facing no less than 3 lawsuits for dropped calls, unreliable 3G service, and crashing software downloads.
