Last week, Velocity Mobile, at CTIA in San Francisco CA, revealed a new mobile phone, the Velocity 83, a slender Windows Mobile powered smartphone.
The Velocity 83 incorporates a roomy 2.8 inch QVGA touch-screen display where the user can experience Velocity’s Odyssey user interface, which has been designed by Velocity to make things more finger friendly.
The 83 comes with built-in GPS, 2 megapixel camera, WiFi, quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz, and two microSD slots, one slot for storage while the other is for storing maps for GPS navigation.
Velocity is looking for a November release on the 83 and has a price tag of around $500.00 US, although there is no word on which market will see the Velocity 83 first.
