EA and Eidos Interactive have joined to grant EA Mobile exclusive rights to certain Eidos titles, this deal will give licenses to EA over all existing mobile devices for games such as “Tomb Raider Underworld,” “Minesweeper,” “California Games X,” and “Just Cause 2.”
Electronic Arts also gains future options for the mobile versions of most of Eidos’ video games for three years.
EA Mobile’s VP of European publishing, Javier Ferreira, said in a statement: “This deal gives EA Mobile immediate access to not one but four high-profile titles, which will appeal to a broad audience on mobile platforms.”
