Over in Korea, mobile banking is about to get a redesign as the sub-committee on Financial Digitisation of the Back of Korea had decided to move over to the Universal Subscriber Identity Modules, USIMs as ATM and CD networks throughout Korea.
This service may well even be available as soon as November, but the instruction as to just how it will work isn’t that clear.
Mobile phone with inserted USIMs allows users to download the program, and mobile transactions will then be done via holding the mobile phone close to sensors in CD and ATMs.
