Digital Imaging Systems has announced the availability of the first ever 9 megapixel camera module for mobile phones; the new DIS6931 camera module.

Camera modules offer rich features such as high quality lenses, auto-focus, mechanical shutter and ND-filter with integrated actuators and an easy to access platform software, enabling high-end digital still camera quality in mobile phones.
