Google Android G1 lacks 3.5mm headphone jack
Great news that Amazon has put together an MP3 store application for the new Google Android G1, but what would have also been helpful to say the lease was to have put a 3.5mm headphone jack on the G1.
Like most of the HTC manufacturers mobile phones the G1 drops the 3.5mm headphone jack for an ExtUSB connector which basically mean you’ll need an adaptor or custom headphones to listen to music.
Furthermore, the adapter needed isn’t going to be available immediately at launch so music listening is going to have to wait. One really wonders why HTC just doesn’t use a 3.5mm socket instead.

OMFG! IT SUCKS!
sorry, but the phone is pretty ugly, and why have SD storage and MP3 playback and NOT add the 3.5mm? frustrating. google, stick to search engines.
