A report of what industry observers are saying about the new T-Mobile Android G1, has Telecoms Korea dropping a hint on when Android based phones could possibly be released from LG and Samsung.
Mirae Asset Securities Co., Ltd were sharing their company thoughts on the Google Android T-Mobile G1 mobile phone, and apparently said it was “short of expectations,” and that LG and Samsung will be releasing their own versions of the Google phone “in the second half of 2009 at the earliest.”
Having a release date for the second half of 09 would allow Samsung and LG ample time to tweak Android to make sure it runs smoothly on their handsets, but apparently one of the biggest hindrances to the gPhone is the scepticism among mobile advertisers who don’t hold enough faith in Android.
