RIMM Debate: Will the RIM Blackberry Storm Increase Profits?
As we draw closer to the launch of the BlackBerry Storm we ask will this turn things round for the investors of RIMM and send share prices rocketing. Let’s take a closer look at the Storm, firstly, it is the first ever touchscreen from BlackBerry and looks extremely sophisticated plus sports a 3.2-megapixel camera so we can see it walking all over the Apple i-Phone on camera spec.
The BlackBerry Storm is going have an impressive removable memory card and will have a full QWERTY keyboard. The Storm will have all the usual Bluetooth in stereo, supports audio and video and we can safely say that BlackBerry will have a few other surprises up their sleeve with the spec on this Smartphone.
Well it does seem like we have been waiting a lifetime for Storm, or maybe it is just the excitement of seeing the Storm in all its glory making us feel like it’s been forever. So to the point in question, “Do you think that RIM’s BlackBerry Storm will increase profits and lift the share value of RIMM?

The Storm does NOT have a qwerty slider. It has a unique touch screen qwerty that clicks like a real button.
I think I won’t hurt. As a verizon customer of four and a half years, I’m beginning to tire of the competing networks, (mainly at&t) getting all of the cool new phones. I’ve been looking towards the iphone, and have been following the blackberry bold, which I would just love to have. If the storm is as good a the bold, then I’ll be sticking with verizon, with the storm.
