Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, top honcho of Nokia has said emerging rivals Research In Motion, Apple, Google and Microsoft have all helped in accelerating interest in using the internet on mobile phones.
Kallasvuo says: “Suddenly, you have the mightiest companies in the world there as your competitors. That is a little mind-boggling.”
The boss of Nokia is impressed by the strategy of Canada’s BlackBerry maker research In Motion that they not only sell their won mobile devices but complete packages for manging corporate email securely.
Kallasvuo further said: “We will exceed the RIM client in some months with a very good email system.”
