The Nokia XpressMusic 5800 Tube goes the same ways as the Apple iPhone 3G when it hits China, which means the Nokia XpressMusic 5800 will not have 3G or WiFi onboard.
One would presume this move pretty much negates one of the main reasons for wanting to acquire the Nokia XpressMusic 5800. China’s lack of coverage could be blamed for the removal of 3G, but why disable WiFI on every 5800 handset headed for China, it just doesn’t make sense really.
The majority of China’s internet traffic is filtered anyway, so could it be that Chinese regulators just don’t really understand what WiFi is all about?
