Orange has halted sales of RIM’s Blackberry Bold in all their stores because of software issues they say. The actual cause is not yet known, however other networks such as Vodafone and O2 don’t seem to be experiencing them same issues as Orange.

Last month Orange users couldn’t use the BlackBerry Bold maps due to the maps icons not showing in the maps menu. Orange have said the maps icons are no longer a problem due to a software fix issued to customers, but now there appears to be a second problem occurring.

A statement issued by Orange and RIM gives their apology to Orange customers for any inconvenience and expects to issue another software fix release soon.
