Nokia‘s premiere of Nokia Production; their first user generated multimedia film, was shown last night at 8.45pm PST at the Nokia Plaza in LA along with a simultaneous on-line broadcast at ww.nokiaproductions.com.
The Nokia Productions film was developed by Nokia in partnership with T-Mobile USA, and was a film that was constructed entirely by everyday people using their mobile handsets to make and submit original content, and was then combined to make one artistic multimedia movie created by Director Spike Lee.
The general public was invited by Lee to submit their original music, video, text and images for each of three acts which were, birth, life, and death, and were invited to submit their content to www.nokiaproductions.com. They receives in excess of 4000 pieces of original content which were uploaded and gained over 350,000 visitors to the Nokia Productions website in that period.
