The Governments home secretary Jacqui Smith talks about the Communication Data Bill and how it will recommend a legislation to keep for two years data about internet traffic on your mobile as well as information on mobile calls
Ms Smith gave a speech about National Security on the October 15 on the institute for Public Policy Research Commission, she discussed the threat of international terrorism.
In the speech she talked of how the national database proposal could intercept and store for the data for up to two years. The Home Secretary’s went on to mention how the data could be vital against combating serious crime such as drug trafficking, murder and child sex abuse.
