Looks like prospective Google Android T-Mobile G1 owners may just be a little disappointed when they finally gain their new mobile handset, especially if they were looking forward to trying out the 50 or so applications.
Disappointed because those reported 50 or so apps in the Android market have been drastically stripped away by Google to leave just a measly 13, and many of the top apps which have been reviewed will now be absent.
No word from Google as to just why they felt the need to so dramatically reduce the available apps quantity, it could be that they are simply trying to reduce initial bandwidth usage on launch of the T-Mobile G1, or it could be a possible last minute quality check in which case we should see the apps reinstated quite quickly.
