Google and T-Mobile are already releasing a firmware update over the air for the Android T-Mobile HTC G1. So no sooner this Google Android based phone is out it needs updating, with a firmware update that doesn’t actually do that much.
The over the air firmware update apparently includes “enhancements” (whatever that means, very broad) and one bug fix for a bug that “is visible to customers which makes all songs from Amazon available for listening.”
Those G1-er’s that are part of the pre-sale, should receive this update between the 23rd and 25th of Oct. For those receiving the G1 after that date should receive the update within two to three days after the G1 has been activated. New G1 handsets supplied by HTC will have the update pre-loaded.
