Italy’s mobile phone operator TIM has acquired an exclusive release of the LG KS360 messenger mobile phone, which TIM has now re-branded as the LG Tribe. There is however very little difference between the LG Tribe and the LG KS360, so it appears that it is simply just a name change.
The LG Tribe offers up a slide out full QWERTY keyboard along with 2.4 inch display screen. 2.0 megapixel camera, and the rest of the specs falling in line with the LG KS 360 messenger phone.
Both the LG Tribe and LG KS360 are said to be targeted towards “generation Web 2.0,” and the LG Tribe sells for about 149 Euros while being bundled with Windows Live Messenger that will be free for the first two months and thereafter with a cost of between three and six Euros.
