Does AT&T want Google Android platform: AT&T CEO says no
There has been some considerable whispering over Ralph de la Vega, AT&T’s CEO of Mobility and Consumer markets announced that AT&T will be releasing a Google Android platform mobile phone in the near future.
However, according to the San Francisco Chronicle website, de la Vega isn’t so enamoured with the idea of Android, so this may if true mean no Android from AT&T. The article on the SF Chronicle’s site said…
“De la Vega said AT&T continues to look at Google’s Android operating system but is not prepared to make any moves to carry any Android phones. He said the platform is still evolving and needs to open up even more to offer a wider array of non-Google applications.”
So, is AT&T going to go Android, or are they just simply not interested?

I’m looking to buy a new mobile phone, so I’ll take a closer look to decide if I’ll buy it or not.
