For those expectant Google Android T-Mobile G1-ers who are awaiting the T-Mobile G1 in white are probably finding it somewhat difficult to obtain the handset, as a matter of fact the white G1 version isn’t even listed on the T-Mobile website.

However, if you want to know why well TMO News has it that the white G1 from HTC isn’t expected to ship until the Thanksgiving holiday in the US, which means you still have a little while to wait.

The word for the delay had been a rumoured paint chipping problem, although this hasn’t been confirmed by HTC or Google, but I guess if you really are impatient for a white G1 you can always nip over to Colorware and have the original version customed up.
