According to Hitwise, the leader in online competitive intelligence, the Apple iPhone heads the top of the table for searches for mobile phones in October of this year. The Apple iPhone took the top spot with 5.8 percent of all mobile phone searches.
The Apple iPhone’s popularity has helped Apple achieve becoming the most searched for consumer electronics brand in the UK last month, but the so named “iPhone Killers” are moving up close behind, such as the Nokia N96, the Samsung Omnia, and the Sony Ericsson C905 all increasing their search ratings in October.
However overall most popular mobile phone brand online still remains with Finnish giant Nokia with Apple taking second place in overall brand.
