The Google Android T-Mobile G1 and that never-ending question of multi-touch, or lack of it. Well it was only a matter of time before some clever spark G1-er set to work to solve that little problem, and hackster Ryan Gardner proves to be that G1 coder.

Ryan Gardner is the author of an application which sets about proving that the Google Android T-Mobile G1’s inability to accept multi-touch or two finger touch anyway, doesn’t lay in the hardware.

Gardner has even made video proof of his multi-touch, although it’s definitely not on par with say the Apple iPhone, but maybe a few G1 developers may be able to expand on it and get it into a better state. Ryan Gardner does plan on posting his code once he has cleaned it up though.
