HTC ups its forecast for T-Mobile G1 sales
HTC has managed to turn itself from a low value mobile phone maker into the world’s largest vendor of Windows Mobile phones and has also become a big player in the smartphone arena, and is also the leader in the Android world.
HTC has stated this week they have acquired via an overseas subsidiary, a US design company for $4.82 million, but has so far not named the company. But this does highlight HTC’s determination to continue their progress into the mobile world.
The Taiwanese company has now upgraded its forecasts for the Android mobile handset and now predicts it will sell 1 million Google Android G1 handsets by the end of this year along with 3 million Windows Mobile Touch Diamond handsets.
