Nokia is planning on launching their Nokia “Comes With Music” in Asia. T C Pan, head of entertainment and communities for Nokia China, while at the recently held Mobile Asia Congress in Macau, stated that Nokia is working on bringing their “Comes With Music” to Greater China and Asia.
He did however admit that there are concerns on just how “Comes With Music” would work in China due to China’s piracy laws, the lack of WLAN and 3G networks and steep data tariffs which could possible kill off the idea.
Nokia has all four major recording companies, Sony BMG, EMI, Warner and Universal aboard the “Comes With Music” scheme, but will they be willing to compromise so that Nokia can push the service in China’s wide market?
