One can safely say the Google Android T-Mobile G1 has its fair share of accelerometers, pop open compass mode in Google’s Street View and you’ll see that. However one thing the T-Mobile G1 is sadly lacking is some auto-rotation goodness.
But as with all things mobile phone wise, the hard working android developer community comes to the rescue with a nice hack to sort the problem out, and Google’s all’s fair policy towards 3rd-party applications should guarantee this app should be easily available to G1-ers.
The developer has even produced a video demonstration of this neat auto-rotation app in action, and judging from the video it seems to be working just fine.
