The Samsung Omnia is a stylish quite competent smartphone that could do will in any professional’s suit pocket, but for some reason the Samsung Omnia seems to be faltering sales wise in the constant shadow of the ominous Apple iPhone 3G and the T-Mobile G1.
Maybe this then is the reason why Verizon Wireless has now dropped the price of the Samsung Omnia under what appears to be the magic price point of $200.00.
It’s quite possible that Verizon are hoping to use the Samsung Omnia as an alternative to the HTC Touch Diamond with its price at $249.00 but then that too could do with a price plunge to below that magic $200.00 as that price seems to attract potential customers, especially in today’s economy.
