Nokia has launched the Nokia N97 superphone with 3.5 inch tilt touch-screen technology and QWERTY keyboard along with Web 2.0 for social networking while at Nokia World 2008.
This new offering from Nokia offers potential users what Nokia calls the “social location” feature, which uses the N97’s integrated GPS and electronic compass to actually understand where the mobile handset is.
According to Nokia the N97 “social location” feature makes it possible for a user to let their friends know exactly where they are simply by auto-updating social networks with real time geographical info.
The Nokia N97 also offers a 5 megapixel camera, HSDPA and WLAN network access, streaming Flash videos or playing games and ideal for blogging, chatting, posting, sending texts or emailing.
