Every workplace has them, an office joker, the rebel, the leader, the prankster, but according to a new report which identifies key workplace personalities, they may well be a thing of the past. The T-Mobile Workplace Motivation Report is a report which details that despite the recent economic financial grey cloud, office jokers and pranksters are no joking matter when it comes to motivation.
According to T-Mobile’s report 15% of the people interviewed found the “office joker” and un-motivating influence in the workplace, while a 1/4 of those interviewed stated that the “can do” attitude is beneficial, and the report finds that a 1/3 of British workers consider themselves to be down-to-earth realist types.
The T-Mobile Workplace Motivation Report has identified 8 of the most common workplace types ranging from the nurturing “mother hen”, the unflappable “dude”, the resourceful “innovator”, the connected “link”, and the obvious tech “geek”, and T-Mobile concludes that the report was commissioned to gain further insight into the changing role of motivation with the work environment.
So, readers, which motivational personality are you?
